Plastic Bottles & Ocean Pollution Final Presentation

May 16, 2009

Plastic is poisoning our oceans and a lot of that plastic comes from plastic beverage bottles. Stop using disposable plastic water bottles and switch to using filtered tap water in reusable water bottles. It’s easy to do. It will help save the ocean. It will save you money. Final version of my Plastic Bottles & Ocean Pollution presentation. If you have trouble viewing the embedded version below, you can view it on SlideShare.

    sad but true,

The best thing is to do in my opinion is get this issue into awareness & try to get as many people as possible active.
    Each and every one counts!

    1. it takes more than 400 years for a plastic bottle to decompose
    2. plastic bottles contain dangerous chemicals hazardous to our health
    3. Plastic is poisoning our oceans – http://www.physorg.com/news169927772.html

This may be a partial solution to the problem: http://www.worldwithoutbottles.com/
Furthermore, we should put more efforts into recycling in a global view of things.

    Kind regards,
A person who cares A LOT.

Hi, interesting blog! Please support our campaign to get rid of 13 million plastic bottles every year that are left in Venice by its 20 million annual visitors. See http://www.veniceinfosite.com/?p=426 for details and take 10 seconds to sign our petition and help a good environmental cause!
    Thanks
    David
